COMMONWEALTH POWERLIFTING CHAMPIONSHIPS | WINNIPEG 2026 🇨🇦🏋🏽‍♂️

S: 120 / 130 ❌ /130kg
B: 80 / 85 / 90kg 🥉
D: 175 / 190 / 200kg ❌
Total: 410kg (-18.5kg) | BW: 66.45kg

No PBs this time around, but what an incredible experience ❤️ I have left Winnipeg with a Commonwealth bronze medal, valuable lessons, and a heart full of gratitude.

Squats are still a work in progress, and although the depth calls were tough on the day, we learn and move forward. Going 3/3 on bench with a pec tear and taking home a Commonwealth bronze is something I wouldn’t have imagined a few months ago! The irony! 😂🥉

Unfortunately, the 200kg deadlift will have to wait. My left-hand grip let me down on the day, but the strength is there. 200kg will fall before the end of 2026 💪

Above all, ALL GLORY TO GOD for the strength, resilience, protection, and freedom to compete. 🙏 My faith and the people closest to me have carried me through some difficult times, especially post-injury.

A huge thank you to the NIPF and everyone involved in running the championships, and my coach Marty for all the work and dedication behind the scenes. I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity.

Lastly, to everyone who supported me, whether financially, through prayers, messages, encouragement or simply believing in me - THANK YOU 🫶 Every donation and gesture of support helped make this journey possible, and I will never take that for granted.

Special shout-out to my barber Gavin 💈💇‍♂️ who keeps me trimmed all year round and believed in me enough to make a donation! I appreciate you more than you know 🤝

I may have been the one on the platform, but I certainly didn’t get there alone. This medal and this journey are shared with everyone who stood in my corner. May God bless you all abundantly 💯

Commonwealth 26 Equipped Bench 🥈 Vice Champion
Plus
Team 🥇🙌🫶

Loved this one!!!!

I might have been disappointed with classic but I loved the Equipped this time.

The shirt worked amazingly thanks to @here.is.james for setting it on the day and @ralfmale for teaching me how to make it work for me.

James asked me about going for the win on the last and I said he could chuck on whatever he wanted.

10kg jump loaded 😬🫣

I genuinely thought 97.5 might bury me but it didn't and I'm happy it moved at all.

Give me a minute and I'll have it moving 🤞

Top this one off - I got to lift with the baby girl before she went off to be a grown up big girl at uni 🥹💖
Even better - She became a champion again 🙌🥇
Lil star 🌟

Epic day (or night because this is the latest ive ever comp'd - 9.30pm WTF) 🌙😴

Thanks to all involved xx loved it and clearly Eq is settling in 😂

My first ever international powerlifting meet… and what an experience! @2026commonwealthpowerlifting 🥹❤️
From the early mornings, heavy lifts and endless training sessions to the nerves, emotions and “what have I signed myself up for?” moments… this prep has been one heck of a journey!
First and foremost, a HUGE thank you to my coach, @ruthcjmoore ❤️ Your patience, knowledge, commitment and constant positivity have meant more than you know. Especially through the stressful moments leading up to competition, you kept me grounded, focused and believing in myself when I needed it most. You’re someone I look up to enormously and an absolute inspiration. I’m so grateful to have you in my corner. 🫶🏼
To everyone who donated, sponsored me and helped make this trip to Canada possible — THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. ❤️ Your generosity helped turn a dream into reality, and I genuinely couldn’t have done it without every single one of you. I’ll be forever grateful for the support you’ve shown me. 🥹
To the @nipowerlifting team and coaches, thank you for your continued support and encouragement. A special shout-out to @missy_smiler for keeping me right during our training sessions — I’ve learned so much and appreciate you more than you know! 💪🏼 To my amazing family, @nickimc.g @mojomucker @aidanmc01 thank you for being my biggest supporters throughout this whole prep… and for putting up with me talking about powerlifting approximately 24/7 😂❤️ Thanks for listening to the nerves, the excitement, the doubts and everything in between. I couldn’t do it without you.

Was it my best performance? No.
Did everything go exactly how I’d hoped? Also no.
But did I learn a lot, gain invaluable experience and make memories I’ll never forget? ABSOLUTELY. 🥹💪🏼
Competing internationally is a completely different experience to anything I’ve done before, and I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to represent, challenge myself and step onto that platform. Not every competition gives you the results you want, but every competition gives you something to take away.
This one gave me lessons, perspective, memories, gratitude and an even bigger appreciation for the incredibl
