Thank you to all of those who have supported outdoor education 🏕and youth education in Antarctica🇦🇶. @boyle_river_outdoors @2041schools You have all been incredibly generous and we have hit $12,000! Thank you! One final fundraising push (coinciding with the release of the @mdslegendary photos), above.

Key learnings:
1. Gratitude and renewed appreciation for life - shelter, food, water, fruit, family and friendships. I will never take these things for granted.
2. Inspired by the 1500 people who took on the MDS Legendary - 68 nationalities with people at breaking point and not one argument. People were kind to each other - I walked (crab walked🦀 ) away with renewed faith in people - there are some amazing humans out there.
3. People are capable of much more than they think. Taking on a challenge you aren't sure you can compete is the best way to grow. Running 100km straight. 270km in 6 days. Passion, grit. It comes to the fore. I feel that anything is possible.
4. Toenails are for losers.

Thank you to all of the organisers, volunteers and medical staff @jakeheath_elitepod @gemmalee789 @aj.perky who made this event so incredible. One of the best things I have ever done.

Grateful to make some new dear friends @benreymenants @ings.jamie @tomguthriee @tomirelandlife @hanzy_kate @s_dr4go @victorbaitoiu & many more

Thanks all for following this journey. More to come. Growth Mindset. Forwards.

Hey Team!
A raw vid of the @mdslegendary - it gives a good appreciation for the conditions for the 270km run across the Sahara.
So many learnings and still proceasing to be honest.
Enjoy an insight into the MDS and what we went through. You will see it got tougher and tougher. Day 6, enjoy the 'in pieces' pic.
We would be grateful for your support of @boyle_river_outdoors @2041schools @2041foundation , link below. Thanks to all who have contributed so far. Big love all and I appreciate all of you. Thanks, Winnie

It wasn't a trip. It was an expedition. I had the honor of joining explorer @robertcswan and his NGO @2041climateforce on a journey to the last great wilderness on Earth: Antarctica.

30 years ago, Jacques Cousteau gave Robert a 50-year mission: protect Antarctica before 2041, when the treaty that shields it from drilling and mining comes up for revision. The mission of 2041 is to carry that promise forward and protect this continent from exploitation, and the experience of being there is a profound lesson in why that matters. You see the fragility of the ice, you meet the wildlife that knows no fear of humans, and you feel the immense, humbling power of nature.

It's impossible to come back from a place like this unchanged. It rewired my relationship with the planet and deepened my commitment to living more sustainably. These photos are my attempt to share a fraction of that experience. 100% real. No AI.

What's one change you've made recently to live more sustainably? I'd love to hear it.
