Shark fishing on Friday with friends. We had a few that day, ending with a larger blue shark that took some effort. Fought one that was about 60-70lbs on a spinning rod and that was a lot of fun. @207_surf_rat_

🪦Definition of the living dead🧟‍♂️

Respect the code, respect the fish, and respect each other... The solitude of a lone nightshift is only rivaled by that of two Van Staals screeching in symphony.

Here’s to many more nights spent wrangling moo-moo’s in '25🐮

Still that same cherry flavored frigid fuckin feline🤫🖕

Breaking the radio silence with the simple reminder that its uneccessary to broadcast your every move to the masses. Surely, disclosing that I'm moving in silence is in direct contradiction, but some of you could learn a thing or two from falling off the face of the Earth...

In today’s Striped Bass Technical Committee meeting, we learned that the 2022 removal numbers have greatly impacted our chance to rebuild Striped bass by the 2029 deadline. Based on these numbers, and without regulation changes, we are looking at anywhere between a 3% to 11% chance we rebuild the stock. Would you take those odds?

It’s time to act again. The ASMFC Board will meet in early May to discuss next steps. Our last hope might just be this 2015 year class. It's time to protect them. Big call-to-action coming soon. @saltwaterguidesassociation #InitiateAddenum2

Well for us Maine, NH and MA guys, the season is coming to a quick close. I’ll be continuing to post any photos sent in by anglers so feel free to send anything in for a repost!

I’d also like to diversify this account by including a large margin of Striped Bass conservational topics as well as promoting local plug builders or notable figures in the community.

Thanks to everyone who has sent in their catches this year, and will continue to throughout the winter. It’s great to see the reception this account has gained this year and I’m excited to see what next season brings us. Tight lines!
