I am never shutting up about this @sefitexpo !!

It was such a privilege to host the 33rd annual Southeast Collegiate Fitness Expo. Thank you @globetrotterwellness and @clemsoncampusrec for believing in me in putting on this event in my first year. It was such an honor to create the same student experience that inspired me to pursue this career. I am so impressed with my student staff and the Clemson campus recreation family & am leaving this experience with such a full cup🥹 Go Tigers forever! 🐅🧡

It’s OFFICIAL! I am a @soulcycle Instructor! It’s still unreal to me. It’s still this dream that I wouldn’t even let myself shoot for because of how unattainable my mind made it. And yet, here we are! This must’ve been how Uma Thurman’s character felt at the end of Kill Bill v2 in the bathroom. Just tears of joy and accomplishment.

It started with them (swipe for the original duo 🥹), and it led me here.

I’ve always loved this photo of my parents riding through the mountains in the outskirts of Tokyo. I grew up hearing their stories of the pure joy they felt on those bikes... and then Santa brought me my first set of wheels at age 3. Looking back, I don’t think that little girl in Japan could have ever imagined where they would take her.

GUYS!!! I AM SO EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE - I am officially a @soulcycle Instructor in New York City!!! 🍎🗽

If you’re new here, hi! I’m Mari. I spent 11 years on tour with Disney On Ice and was a competitve skater since I was a 7. For a long time, the ice was my entire identity. When I finally hung up my skates, I truly, deeply wasn’t sure if I’d ever find that feeling again. Then @sarah_jessiegoodhue took me to my first SoulCycle class. (@dacodaclarke ily😘)

So here’s my soul story. The bike is the only place where I feel that same raw, pure, electric joy I once had on the ice. It’s where I finally recognized myself again, and I can’t wait to share that piece of my heart and create magic with you, NYC. 😭💛

To the one who saw it in me first, @alikane1202, thank you for introducing me to the bike. To the entire team at HQ and my Group 45 baddies: thank you for making my biggest dreams come true. Your belief changed everything.

ママ＆パパ, arigatou for showing me how to enjoy the ride from day one.

& to NYC… I’m ready to give you everything I’ve got.
