A little flower love from the farm! 🌸🌿

@20pastures is a Minnesota farm founded by former NBA player Rashad Vaughn, connecting community through farm-fresh food, education, and a closer relationship with where our food comes from. 🤎

Of course we had to give him his flowers! 💐

We loved our time at the Touch Grass event at the farm!

Black to Farm - this was fulfilling experience (I can't wait to learn and do more) both my belly & spirit was filled❣️🚜 🖤 ♥️🥰🙌🏾

@blacktothefarm was everything I needed and more. The second time around was another beautiful experience that I’ll cherish always. Delicious food grown and raised by Black farmers, prepared by Black chefs, paired with wine made by Black winemakers, served on Black-owned farmland. Rare air indeed. 🖤

Over the weekend I got to experience something beyond beautiful ! BLACK TO THE FARM @blacktothefarm ! 2 tents , 4 large tables , 50 people ! On Saturday we traveled to @rootspringsmn - Black land ( BIPOC + LGBTQ ) . Ate food raised by Black farmers @20pastures @rashad_vaughn @freedomfarmmpls @dawn2duskfarms . Food prepared by Black chefs @chef.garris & @houseofgristle @billgreensbbqco . Wine made by a black woman Zafa wines. @toast_tours with the super delicious super cute ciders ! I mean We were deeply rooted ! Black to the farm brought out some amazing people , brought together amazing talent & made it happen ! So much gratitude! It was magical to see your vision come together @chefraspberry & shout out to the team that helped make it all happen @mycdazzle @the.bsuiteco @llcooljhae & everyone else who had a hand involved ! @mnhs.info

Black farm. Black chefs. Black wine maker. black creative advisor. Black cows. In MINNESOTA. Never have I had a farm to table experience like this and I’m forever changed because of it!! Did you know Minnesota has 46 black operated farms?

Black to the Farm is officially sold out — but the table isn’t done growing. 🌾

We’re opening up two Community Seat opportunities for October 3rd at Rootsprings. Two names will be picked, and each is able to bring a plus one.

For two seats that normally cost up to $550 together, two people get an opportunity to purchase two seats each for $50 total. This is only possible because of our partners at the Minnesota Historical Society, helping us keep this rooted in what it’s always been about: supporting Black farmers and culinary professionals, together.
