FIRST LOOK | SIN AND BONES What happens when two people share the same bed, the same moments, the same intimacy…but walk away with two completely different versions of what it all meant? One calls it an escape. The other calls it love. I’m excited to share the first official stills from my newest film, Sin and Bones, starring @themonalita as Brooke and @devonlamontt as Saint. With appearances from @iamronrussell and @watchphippswork. There is so much happening beneath the surface of this story. Desire. Power. Vulnerability. Pride. And that uncomfortable space between what someone is willing to give and what another person desperately wants to receive. We officially wrapped production this week, and seeing these images reminds me of exactly why I wanted to tell this story. I’m incredibly proud of what our cast and crew created together. For now, here’s your first look inside the world of Sin and Bones. And trust me, there’s a whole lot more to this story than what you’re seeing. THAT’S A WRAP ON SIN AND BONES. And what a process this has been. There’s the movie you write. The movie you imagine. The movie you plan for weeks. And then there’s the movie that happens when a group of incredibly talented people show up, bring their gifts to the table, and somehow make it better than what existed in your head. That was Sin and Bones. This team WORKED. Long days. Tight turnarounds. Last-minute adjustments. Problem solving in real time. Moving lights, resetting rooms, changing looks, chasing shots, protecting performances—and then getting up and doing it all over again. And they did it with care. I watched people go beyond their job titles because they wanted the FILM to win. I watched my actors dig deeper and deeper into these characters. I watched departments support other departments. I watched people solve problems before I even knew there was a problem. That’s filmmaking. As a director, every production teaches me something new. This one taught me even more about trust—trusting my actors, trusting my crew, trusting the process, and continuing to learn how to trust my own instincts. I walked onto this production with a script. I walked away with a film. To every single person who touched Sin and Bones—cast, crew, producers, executive producers, glam, production assistants, everyone behind the scenes—THANK YOU. You worked your asses off, and I hope when you finally see this film, you see yourselves in it too. Because we made this together. Production is officially WRAPPED. Now…let’s edit a movie! A few quick images from Day One of Sin and Bones! And I really don’t know how else to say it: it was perfect. The energy. The performances. The crew. The images we captured. The way everybody showed up ready to WORK. There are days on set where you spend the whole day chasing the movie you had in your head. Yesterday, I watched the movie in my head come to life right in front of me. And somehow… it might be even better. Day One in the books. 🎬 Sin and Bones is officially becoming a real thing.
