The journey back from my ankle injury has been humbling.

Some days would feel like progress while some days felt like I was completely starting over. It’s funny how quickly you realize what something means to you when it’s taken away.

Grateful for this experience because it showed me how dedicated I am to this sport 🙏🏾

Mentally I’m still here fr 💔

Starting my new role today and I couldn’t have started this next chapter without one last night with my people in ATL this past Sunday 🤞🏾

Week 3 invited a lot more movement, my ankle is progressing every day, but still not at a 100% sadly.

I’m starting to notice that when I’m working out (certain exercises) the amount of load I’m placing on my left leg because my body was so used to keeping my weight off my right foot due to the sprain. Before I get back into running, I think it is extremely important to note and correct this week issue. Just this week, I went for a run and was feeling pretty good at the beginning honestly, then I had to return home after filling pain in my ankle and beginning to limp with each step. That run did a lot from my confidence but it also showed me my areas of concern to address in the upcoming weeks.
