Moment of clarity for me. Realizing I’m now the OLD Head in the game. If I got it they got it! On 8/22/26. FOUR TEAMS. ONE FIELD. ONE GOAL!

CHS, Early College, Ben Franklin (PA), Washington HS (MD) all stepped onto the field and made it clear — THEY ARE HUNGRY!

Coming from an urban community doesn’t mean they lack talent.
It doesn’t mean they lack DISCIPLINE.
It doesn’t mean they lack AMBITION.

IT MEANS THEY’VE HAD TO FIGHT FOR EVERYTHING!

OUR young men competed with speed, physicality, discipline, toughness, and pride. They represented their school, their families, their community, and everyone who believes in them.
They aren’t asking anybody to feel sorry for them!

THEY’RE ASKING YOU TO SUPPORT THEM AND VALIDATE THEIR HARD WORK!

Watch the WORK.
Watch the GROWTH.
Watch the CULTURE.
Watch these young men change the narrative.

To the media: UPLIFT THEM - SEE THE POSITIVE

To our community: BE PROUD

To our players: KEEP WORKING

And to everyone wondering who THEY are…THEY ALL KEEP CHANGING THE NARRATIVE! #tristatefootball🏈 #earnednotgiven #builtthroughadversity

This season didn’t go the way we planned, and it ended a lot sooner than any of us expected. But I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed the journey with you and the rest of the guys.

I’m incredibly proud of the growth I saw—not just on the football field, but in how many of you stepped up as young men. Coaching you all has been an honor. Every time I coach a team, it feels like I gain 40 sons… I just don’t pay child support or get to claim any of you on my taxes.

Much love, always.
