As a mom, I’m always hoping I’m doing enough and teaching my kids what truly matters. Then I have moments like this watching them laugh, love each other, and make memories together and I’m reminded of how much we’ve built as a family.

Over the weekend, we spent time with family and friends, and we really did have a good time. But the best part for me was watching my kids bond and enjoy being together. I managed to sneak these videos of them in the photo booth, and the pictures that follow show the aftermath 😂 The rest are pretty self explanatory. They may not all be related by blood, but they are siblings for the rest of their lives.

Guys, if you’re reading this, please keep checking in on each other. Keep annoying each other, building your bond, loving each other, and respecting each other. It makes me so happy to watch you grow up, one of you almost fully grown adults (but never in my heart) and still share these moments together.

I know you sometimes get frustrated that Dad makes you spend time together and visit so often, but this is exactly why. The friendship and love you have for each other are worth making time for, no matter how busy life gets or how far apart you live.

I love you guys so much, and I’m such a lucky mom. 🤍

flag has given me more than just a sport, it gave me a home, a purpose, and people who changed my life. this journey wasn’t always easy, but every challenge, every setback, and every moment of uncertainty made me stronger and reminded me why i fell in love with this game in the first place.

i’ve seen so much change over the years, and through it all, this team has been my constant. it taught me resilience, how to keep showing up even when things feel heavy, and how to lead with heart no matter what the circumstances look like. being here, still standing, still playing, means more to me than words can fully capture.

to my teammates (past and present): thank you for being my family, for the laughs, the grind, and the moments that made everything worth it. to my coaches: thank you for every lesson, every push, and every belief in me along the way.

i’ll always be grateful for the opportunities this sport gave me and the people it brought into my life. this game helped shape who i am. i don’t know what the future holds, but i do know this game has prepared me for whatever comes next. it’s given me confidence, discipline, and a love for the grind that i’ll carry into every chapter of my life.
