I smile reading this article thinking back to when I first encountered being on the same court as you. We were in Kentucky at the @tfnsrun4roses tournament and the game was definitely a sight to see. You and @_.lonballer were going at it to the extent the ref stopped the game a few times. 🤣 Then the very next school year you went to @neumann_goretti_girlsbball with her as a teammate. 😆🥰

Where do I begin… You are the definition of “getting it out the mud” kiddo. Your endless hours to perfect your craft show up EVERY TIME you step on the court. Zo and I absolutely love watching you play. You’re poetry in motion, with a serious face and then a smile/smirk comes after the win because you have so many on the sidelines that are cheering for your success. You’re a dawg and no one can ever take that from you, you earned it! Funny thing is you remind me of a younger @a.baker12 on the court destroying people. 😆 Same last name. 🤔🥰

To know you've had a positive impact on the lives of others...to be honored, appreciated, acknowledged, and valued is such a blessing! God in heaven knows I am truly humbled, thankful, grateful, and appreciative. Year 3. The Year of Impact.

How are you going to show up and lead? How are you going to pour into the next? What are you willing to learn?

These were the questions I asked myself the moment I earned the opportunity to be in this space. Because it’s always bigger than the position you hold—it’s about the impact you make while you’re there.

I’m beyond thankful to have been trusted to lead the way, share knowledge, and place confidence in these young athletes. But just as much as I was there to teach, I was open to learning. That’s the beauty of leadership—it’s a two-way exchange.

My impact was felt. Confidence was built. Knowledge was shared. And most importantly, a moment was created that I hope these athletes carry with them long after this experience.

And a BIG shoutout to my assistant coach @k_willtho !We are a HELL of a team! 🔥 I admire you, I have nothing but respect for you, and I’m so grateful for everything you brought to this experience. You are absolutely amazing, and we did this TOGETHER! 🙌🏽

@lesheala , thank you. I can’t thank you enough for seeing me, believing in me, and trusting me with this opportunity.

@elieberman , you went above and beyond, and I’m incredibly grateful for you.

And a BIG shoutout to the Drifty Dreamerz—you all were truly a blessing to coach. Watching you grow, compete, learn, and believe in yourselves was an honor.

To my peers, thank you for an amazing experience and for making this chapter one I’ll never forget.
