PIPER - Multiples 🔥

Aikido is maybe the only practice taking care of space management as care core principle.

Here is a illustration of Piper Concept use in space link with Aikido principle.

Focus on intent. As you can see I focus to put an “accent” on some techniques to underline sequences.

A part of a clip from teaching Piper. Topic was body spike posture and translation in follow up techniques.

A body spike often misunderstood is a “stopper” and needs some pepper in it before you latch and a smooth connection to the following stab.

Within seamless, fluid technique combination you need to put an “accent” on the spike, otherwise it will be useless and just vaporise within the technique.

Training was always with live blades, if you weren't fast enough or your movement was off, you went to Kuilsriver Hospital. #bloodbegetsblood

Let's Talk About It: THE RING KEEPS YOU HONEST...

Smooth movement is one thing. Knowing where your hands—and your training blade—are throughout that movement is another.

In this video, I explore how we’re developing the ring’s use within 52 VtK to reinforce structure, hand coordination, and awareness. That simple circle gives you feedback as you roll, transition, and change positions.

I also share my perspective on similarities between 52 and Piper. I’m not a representative of Piper; I’m speaking from my experience as a 52 practitioner, with respect for those who know that system more deeply.

We’re building this ring curriculum one lesson at a time. Interested in seeing more? Drop a comment below.
