His Word is my anchor when life feels uncertain, when the days feel heavy, and when I don’t know what’s ahead.

I may not have all the answers, but I know where to turn. 📖

This past year has required me to rely on God and trust Him like never before.

There have been moments I didn’t understand, questions I couldn’t answer, and a season of change I never expected our family to walk through. But somewhere along the way, I’ve learned that trusting God doesn’t mean having all the answers. It means knowing Who carries us when we don’t.

I’m still learning. Still trusting. Still choosing hope. 🙏🏽❤️‍🩹

Where is your mind?

When my mind is spent on myself, I’m never in a state of peace. But If indeed we were created to have our minds spent on God, it makes sense that peace is a byproduct when I’m meditating on God. Loving God with our mind’s meditation will yield a fruit of peace that blesses our lives. I definitely experience this tangibly when Christ is the main meditation of my day. This verse has been helpful to me:

3 You will keep him in perfect peace,
Whose mind is stayed on You,
Because he trusts in You. Isaiah 26:3

There are types of knowledge that we see partnered in Pauline literature and in other parts of the New Testament:

GNOSKO: intimate, experiential knowledge. And GNOSIS: conceptual, factual, statistical knowledge.

We need both. I cannot just have Gnosis. The point of Gnosis is to know God intimately (Gnosko) in worship. I can’t just have Gnosko, I need proper knowledge of the God I’m worshipping and knowing.

You can only run as far as the weight you’re carrying allows.

Fix your eyes on Jesus. Lay down the weight. And keep running the race He has set before you. 🏃‍♂️
