I peeeeelll youuu bannannnaaa

Had so much fun playing in the orchestra for sweeney todd at broadway camp! It was definitely a challenge to play a show only on a secondary instrument but i learned so much and met so many great people! 💈🥧TOBIAS.

i didnt do sweeney im just feeling emo and sentimental about broadway camp and graduating high school and going to music school because four years ago i walked into proctors at fourteen years old afraid of my own voice, my world the smallest its ever been

three years ago i played my first ever pit and there at proctors playing "the prom" i didn't just make music, i found a home. i made the best friends ive ever had and could ever ask for. i found a community of artists who i felt so safe with, i learned the value in being loud, i found the importance of being seen, i watched my world re expand

ive met some of the kindest, most passionate mentors who i can never thank enough for teaching me things ill always remember, whether about musicianship (chefsprissivo and groove) or about life (spreading love is more important than speaking soft), and worked alongside artists with talent i could only ever imagine

there is no way to talk about the person ive become without talking about broadway camp, the place that gave me friendship, safety, joy, music, love, light, memories that i will always remember as the happiest ive ever been

it breaks my heart to grow up and walk away but thank you proctors for every workshop, every rehearsal, every reunion, every time i came back even though i havent been in it since 2024 and every time still felt like coming home, thank you broadway camp for every sweet beautiful memory 🌿💗

Life is good when you’re back performing in Proctors Theatre.
Thank you so much to everyone that put this INSANE production of Sweeney Todd. It’s safe to say I got to check another dream show off of my list 🩸🔪💈

Who’s telling Little Sally we didn’t do a happier musical??

On a serious note though, I am very glad I got one last good go of this camp with everyone. I’m happy with all the bonds I’ve made and people I’ve grown closer with. Love you all, don’t get turned into pies or whatever.

(Peep the blooby honorable mention..)

Yesterday I closed Sweeney Todd at Proctors Broadway Camp on a franken book of reed two, horn, trombone 2 and 3, and trumpet 2. (Played on piccolo, flute, clarinet and tenor sax) I’ve been so grateful to play with this camp for the past four years, and my heart is so full to have played my favorite show in the entire world with my favorite musicians in the entire world. Bless up shake it up!!!!

There aren’t enough words I could say to properly express how I feel after these past two weeks. I just want to say that this has had to be the best pit I’ve ever been in, and it’s because of all you guys. Special shoutout to our little lunch group of 5, and to the cello section. Ellie and Kaleigh you guys are amazing, both as musicians and people, and it was an honor playing with y’all. Love all of you guys ❤️💈🥧

“To love and win is the best thing. To love and lose, the next best.” ~William Makepeace Thackeray

Goodbye year 2! What a roller coaster of a year! I’m hoping for a simpler one next time, but I’ll take what I can get. I’m super thankful to all of the people who have OVERTLY and SECRETLY supported me this year. To those who I have lost, I’ll remember you. Cya!
