This was my first project back since becoming a mom, and I won’t pretend I walked in fully confident. 😅

But getting to tell the story of another mom, and aaaall the versions of herself it took to get here, felt like a gentle nudge that I was right where I needed to be. @coileray the artist, the mom, the hustler, the dreamer, all in one frame.

Not one single version of you is better or more important.

They’re all crucial layers and I love that this music vid celebrates that truth!!

Shouts to @zevxyork and his ability to integrate deeply relatable narratives in such a fun rhythmic way like what brother!?

What I didn’t see coming was the magic off camera!! Coi’s lookalikes (talent) and our 5 Art Dpt shadows showed up as individuals and clicked into one well-oiled operation within hours. The camaraderie on screen was happening between takes and it was palpable in the best way.

Special shoutout to PA Nation 📣 They signed up to watch and learn, and brought the best attitudes from call to wrap. Every time I looked up someone already had eyes on me in case I needed something. Favorite moment was looking up to see them huddled together proactively strategizing what might be needed next.

You can teach someone to do the job, but you can’t teach the awareness to care for one another — and that was a highlight for me to witness. Reminder that no matter where you are on the call sheet, we all have the opportunity to make an impact.

@GoodWorkProductions thank you for treating every shoot as a chance to teach and open doors. It doesn’t go unnoticed, and I know everyone who’s been part of it feels the same ✨
