6ish more weeks until he is robbed of his title of “the baby”.
.
When I stopped nursing him, he became 100% a daddy’s boy. I couldn’t take him to bed, I couldn’t put him down for nap, I couldn’t even get him his breakfast. Daddy’s mini-me only wanted him. It was really hard for me. Fighting him every day just to take care of him. I couldn’t even be the one to change his diapers, but hey, I won’t complain about that one! Within the last month or so, he’s my little buddy again. We bond every day over nap time. The last few days I’ve been feeling crummy, so I’ve been falling asleep with him (if you know me, you k ow that I DO NOT nap and you know why 😂).

I’ve always heard that your kinds can sense when change is close, and I whole heartedly believe that he feels it’s almost time and he’s wanting to soak up every bit of his mommas free time. .
I’m spending these last few weeks memorizing the way his hair smells, where the sweet fuzz is on his face, the way he falls asleep and all of those tiny details.

It’s funny, I always hear moms of one little talk about their fear of having a second baby and how they worry the other kids will feel and I’m here to tell y’all that feeling never leaves you, with every child you worry how the others will feel. But I’ll also tell you this, they’re going to be just fine. They’re going to be happy, their hearts will grow and they will love on that new baby!

We get to hear baby Norah’s heartbeat today! 🎊

I can’t believe we are at the point in pregnancy where this was my last stretch of 4 weeks on appointments. Now we go weekly. 😳 in the home stretch, friends, and I can’t believe it!

Today we also go for a meeting with the school to talk about speech therapy for Grey! Did you know, that the state offers speech therapy until the age of 3? And that even if your child is NOT in the public school system, if your child qualifies for Speech Therapy from the age of 3 on, it is provided by the school district?

Also, we have a mouse in the house and it had me up all night 🤣 .
