And the Pyramid Award goes to…

Jefferson State’s Communications team received 10 awards for marketing excellence, including five first-place awards, during the 2026 #Alabama Community College System Public Relations Association (ACCSPRA) awards ceremony.

Shelby’s been all over 280, so it was only a matter of time! Welcome to The Village 🐻

She’s made a full day of visiting our tenants - a burrito, smoothie, some treats from @hwfeed , and some groceries from Publix on the way out!

🎉 Maven Hair Company is 5 years old today! 🎉

What an incredible journey it has been. We are beyond grateful for every client who has walked through our doors and made Maven what it is today.

Thank you for the laughter, the stories, the friendships, and most importantly, for trusting us with your hair over the years. Your support has allowed us to do what we love every single day, and we couldn’t have reached this milestone without you.

Thank you for being part of the Maven family. ❤️

If you are raising kids AND caring for an aging parent right now — this one is for you. 🫶🏻

Many families today find themselves in the “sandwich generation” — balancing the demands of raising children while caring for aging parents at the same time.

“We see it constantly — families stretched thin, trying to do everything for everyone. That’s exactly where we come in.” — Alyssa, co-owner & RN, homeRN Hoover Vestavia 🤍

“Our goal is to provide consistent, individualized care, thereby giving loved ones peace of mind,” Emily says. “We’re owned and operated by registered nurses, and our caregivers receive close nurse oversight and training. We thoughtfully pair caregivers with clients, and each client receives ongoing nurse oversight and continuous care refinement.” 🏡

We are so proud to be featured in @280living and even prouder to serve the Hoover and Vestavia families who need us most.
