'A Change of Amplitude' explores the intensity of an expansion perceived as a state of being. a process of deconstructing and questioning constructed realities. what forms of evidence surround us and how do they relate to an illusionary experience? an inivitation to engage and reflect on perception and materiality.

I could easily have shared 50, but Instagram only lets me post 20. Congratulations to all the students and everyone at the university for the incredible work.

Let’s hope the proposed funding cuts are not implemented. Art schools play a fundamental role in fostering independent artistic research and supporting the next generation of artists.

Die Ausstellung „Home is where the ____ is“ versammelt Arbeiten von Studierenden und Alumni der Klasse Lucander der Universität der Künste Berlin. Ausgehend von Fragen nach Zuhause, Zugehörigkeit und räumlicher Erfahrung begegnen sich unterschiedliche künstlerische Positionen in Malerei, Zeichnung, Fotografie, Skulptur und Installation.

Der offene Titel verweist auf die Vieldeutigkeit dessen, was als Zuhause verstanden werden kann: ein Ort, eine Erinnerung, ein Gefühl oder etwas, das sich einer eindeutigen Benennung entzieht. Die Ausstellung lädt dazu ein, diesen Leerraum mit eigenen Erfahrungen zu füllen.

“Home is where the ____ is” brings together works by students & alumni of Class Lucander at Berlin University of the Arts. Through painting, drawing, photography, sculpture and installation, the exhibition explores ideas of home, belonging and spatial experience from a range of artistic perspectives.

The open title points to the many meanings that home can take: a place, a memory, a feeling, or something that resists definition in general. Visitors are invited to fill in the blank with their own experiences.
