Another win in Virginia.

A client came to us after having his civil rights restored, ready to take the next step: restoring his firearm rights through the Circuit Court. Got the book and put that work in 💪🏾🫡

After filing the petition, completing the required notice process, and presenting the case under Virginia Code § 18.2-308.2, the Chesterfield County Circuit Court GRANTED his Petition to Restore Firearm Rights.

This is what a real second chance can look like: understanding the process, getting the paperwork right, and taking action to restore rights that matter.

A felony conviction does not have to be the end of your story. In Virginia, there may be legal paths forward—including civil-rights restoration, firearm-rights restoration, pardons, expungement or record-sealing relief where available, and building toward better employment opportunities.

This outcome is one person’s result, not a guarantee of any future result. Eligibility depends on the person’s record, restoration status, court, and the facts of the case.

“Reform and Rehabilitation for Virginia” was created to help Virginians understand their options and begin navigating a path toward a stronger future.

Comment “SECOND CHANCE” if you believe people deserve an opportunity to rebuild.
