Who’s calling? 📞 Hopefully your next Client. 👀

But before they ever pick up the phone, send the inquiry or hit “book,” chances are they’ve already done a little looking.

Your website.
Your Instagram.
Your Linkedin.
And most importantly... the person behind the business.
That’s why I love branding photos that give you more than one version of “professional.”

Give me the polished shot.
Give me the personality.
Give me the laugh.
Give me the this is actually what it feels like to work with me.

Because your photos are doing some of the introducing before you ever get the chance to.

So when your next client comes calling, make sure they’ve already gotten a pretty good feel for who’s picking up.

You booked the branding shoot… now what are we wearing? 👀

“What should I wear?” is probably one of the questions I get the most once a branding session is officially on the calendar.

And while I’m always thinking about what will photograph well, work with our location and make sense for the story we’re telling, sometimes you need somebody who really knows how to pull the whole look together.

So naturally, I had to ask Phylicia — owner of @2beatzboutique 🤍

Her first piece of advice?
Don’t start with the clothes. Start with how you want to show up.

Powerful? Approachable? Creative? Elevated? Fun?

Because your branding photos should still feel like you — just with a little more intention behind them.

And yes… there’s a little something extra coming for my Branding by MI clients too. More on that soon.

1 month of Earth Angel!🪽🥳🩵💫

In the past month, I have celebrated the release of my first album, my birthday, and the birthday of the friend who inspired it all… Miss Anya Blue!💙

After losing Anya in November, 2021, I bought my ukulele to help me process my grief. She absolutely loved music and I still feel her presence at every gig. This medicine came with me to parks & volunteer spots for years to come. Following an abundance of love poured into me and many requests, I’ve finally recorded demos of the music we’ve shared peace with. None of this would have come to be without Anya.🫶🏽🪽

I spent Anya’s birthday living my life to the fullest (skating) and I spent mine surrounded by friends. Thank you to everyone who has supported me in my grief and my celebration! And thank you to @addy_wendt for these photos of my listening party!🎉

You can find Earth Angel through the link in my bio!🤍

Before Inner Oasis had a physical wellness center to renovate, it had this room. 🌿

For the past two years, my temporary at-home studio has held yoga, Reiki, sound, honest conversations, and intimate wellness events for groups of up to 10 people. It may be small, but a whole lot of healing, laughter, rest, and community has moved through this space.

Inner Oasis has also grown far beyond these four walls. I’ve been incredibly grateful to teach and collaborate throughout Wichita with local businesses and community spaces, including:
@throughbreathyoga
@unitystudioyoga
@2beatzboutique
@greatergroundscoffeeict
@botanicawichita

While our new downtown location is being transformed, we are still creating experiences, nurturing partnerships, and finding meaningful ways to bring wellness into the spaces where people already live, work, gather, and travel.

I’m currently looking to connect with more Wichita-area businesses, apartment communities, hotels, and organizations interested in hosting yoga, Reiki, sound baths, restorative experiences, employee wellness, or collaborative events.

Know a space that could use a little Inner Oasis energy? Tag them below or send this post their way. 🌊
