POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

7 COMMITMENTS. 7 OPPORTUNITIES. ONE PROCESS.

Shots With Patience is proud to announce SEVEN members of our 2026 class who have earned the opportunity to continue their academic and basketball careers at the college level.

This is what the process is about.

When we started Shots With Patience in 2021, the vision was bigger than wins, rankings, tournaments, or social media recognition. The mission was to create opportunities, develop young men, build relationships with college coaches, and help our players find the right next home.

Today, we celebrate:

Jerimiah Webb — Onondaga Community College
Jayden Brister — Brooklyn College
Joel Beard — Dakota County
Rodney Guillaume — Jefferson Community College
Jaire Conner — Jefferson Community College
Khaleel Mitchell — North Country Community College
Emmanuel Pascual — Monroe College

Different schools. Different journeys. Different stories. Same commitment to keep moving forward.

Every one of these young men had his own path to get here. There were good days, difficult days, sacrifices, practices, long trips, tough conversations, lessons, wins and losses. Through it all, they stayed with the process.

We are extremely proud of these seven young men, but this isn’t the finish line. College basketball brings another level of responsibility. Now it’s time to attack the classroom, compete for minutes, represent your families, represent yourselves, and continue building your future.

To every coach, parent, family member, supporter and person who poured into these young men along the way — THANK YOU.

And to our guys:

You earned the opportunity. Now go make the most of it.

From Shots With Patience EST. 2021 to the next chapter!

7 COLLEGE COMMITMENTS AND COUNTING.

🚨 STATEMENT WIN. 🚨

Tonight at Lincoln Park, we took on the defending champions, Beacon Elite, and showed what Team Underrated basketball is all about.

We found ourselves down 10-2, then 11-3, before flipping the game completely. Our guys responded with an incredible 22-6 run, taking control of the game and heading into halftime with a 34-28 lead.

The second half was all about defense. We locked in, communicated, protected the paint, and held Beacon Elite to just 15 second-half points, closing out a 53-43 victory. 💪🏾

🏀 Player Highlights:
🔥 Devin was an absolute force in the paint, protecting the rim with numerous blocks and controlling the interior from start to finish.

🔥 Jerry Webb did what Jerry does. He impacted the game on both ends of the floor and was outstanding defensively, setting the tone with his energy and leadership.

🎯 Tafari caught fire during our 22-6 run, knocking down some huge three-pointers in the first half that completely shifted the momentum.

💥 Cam came off the bench ready to produce, giving us double figures and a huge spark offensively.

⏰ Joel came through with timely baskets whenever we needed them, making winning plays throughout the game.

💪🏾 Khaleel was relentless on the glass, rebounding at a high level while also making great decisions and delivering key assists.

👏🏾 Justin gave us quality minutes off the bench, staying ready and making the most of every opportunity.

Proud of this group’s toughness, composure, and unselfishness. We trusted each other, defended at a high level, and earned a hard-fought win against the defending champs.

One game at a time. The mission continues.

Tough one today for Team Underrated 19U at IS8 Basketball vs ELMCOR. High level game from start to finish with both teams getting up and down the floor all afternoon. Tempo was crazy, lead changes all game, and neither squad backed down.

We went into the half down 44-43, battled back and took a 4-point lead deep into the 3rd, but ELMCOR answered and we went into the 4th tied up. Final quarter was straight punches being thrown back and forth. We cut it to one possession late after a 7-0 run and kept fighting possession after possession. ELMCOR went up 5 with 1:29 left, but our guys kept responding with baskets and free throws. Had a chance to tie it at the buzzer on a 3-point attempt with no whistle, and ELMCOR escaped with the 86-83 win.

Respect to both teams because that was a battle. 💯

Team Underrated was led by:

🔥 Joel Beard — 17 pts, 6 rebs
🔥 Jerimiah Webb — 16 pts, 5 assists, 5 rebs
🔥 Josh Presmy — 16 pts, 4 rebs
🔥 Tafari — 9 pts, 6 assists
🔥 Dennis Smith — 7 pts
🔥 Justin — 6 pts

Big time game as well from Daquan Bryant (Soul Food) who finished with 36 pts and 10 rebs. Kid has really been putting the work in and it’s showing. Jameel Matthews also added 16 pts for ELMCOR.

Sometimes the scoreboard don’t go your way, but the growth, toughness and compete level showed today. Back to work. Hah!
