Year 7 in LA! Thankful for everyone who has poured into me and believed in me when sometimes it was hard to believe myself. Best years are still ahead of me!

Lord knows that nursing had been my mountain… FINALLY after 5 long years of telling that mountain to move, the Lord has pushed it out of my way!

Praise be to the Lord for he has not forsaken me and gave me the strength to finish this tremendous battle.
Praise be to my family who was my rock during all this. They heard my cries and tells of woe but continued to pour everything they could into me because they had faith in me and my dreams. Thank you Mom, Dad, Grandma Betty, Rita, Cameron, Goddad Chuck and everyone else who made this journey possible in so many ways.
Praise be to my friends who always knew how to get me out of a dark space. After my many failures and heartbreaks they always picked me up, dusted me off, and reminded me that I was sun and to never let anything get me down. Thank you to Zion, Jael, Hannah, Letti, Clari and so many many more. 🥰
Finally, praise be to myself. For not giving up on my own dreams. For not letting anyone else control or change my dreams. And for growing and becoming the person that will inspire other and make a difference in this world.

Now, it’s time to continue the work that the Lord has placed in my heart! I am blessed to have graduated with a job on as an Orthopedics Nurse here in DC. I will continue to use the gifts the Lord has blessed me with to heal those around me.

And if u remember nothing else remember that someone is always watching. Be the example you needed in this world. Life is short so enjoy but never forget to praise those who helped you. Thank you so much for being here with me.
