Closing out the 2026 Walnut Ridge Track & Field season with a full heart. Grateful for a team that showed up, worked hard, supported each other, and helped build a championship culture highlighted by multiple All-State performances.

Special love and appreciation to our seniors—Darren Kellam, Makai Maddrey, Will Harris, and Abron Davis. Thank you for your leadership, sacrifice, and the legacy you leave behind. Y’all set the standard, and your impact will be felt for years to come.

Shoutout to Abron “Demolition Man” Davis, a two-time district champion and 6th-place finisher in the 110 hurdles. Boys 4x100 finished fifth overall at the state meet which they broke the school record again with a 41.71 . and Kanija Gordon finished seventh in the 100 meters dash at the state meet, for representing Walnut Ridge with excellence.

Thank you to Ms. Jackie for believing in the vision, and to Coach Zav, Coach Banks, Coach Fonz, Coach Wilson, and Coach Lane for your commitment, sacrifice, and unwavering support. I couldn’t have done it without y’all.

Most importantly, thank you to every athlete who trusted the process. The work behind the scenes made this season possible.

We celebrate the journey, stay humble, stay hungry, and keep pushing forward. #4841
