It honestly felt like yesterday when I moved into the freshman dorms and began my college career in 2018. Fast forward to now, it’s weird to think that this journey has gone by so quickly. Looking back, I can say without a doubt that I’ve had the time of my life at UNT and have become the person that I’ve always wanted to be. Being in Denton has changed me in a good way and I wouldn’t trade my time here or the memories I’ve made for anything else. Thank you UNT for being my home away from home for the past four years, even though home was 45 minutes away. To my professors, especially those in the Mayborn School of Journalism, thank you for passing on your wisdom and guidance to help me and my peers succeed in our professional careers. The time y’all spent helping me become the best I can be means more than you know and for that I am extremely grateful. Most importantly, I want to thank my amazing family for being my number one support system, especially my parents and my sister. Thank you for dealing with me and putting up with my craziness. Thank you for never giving up on me and for always believing in my dreams. I could have gone off to pursue any other field, but I’m so thankful that y’all trusted me to go forward with my journalism degree and I promise that I’m gonna make y’all proud! As I look ahead to the future, I’m excited to see what God has in store for me. Here’s to a new adventure!
