From first “play date” to now 💫

I’ve had the joy of serving as Box Office Lead for Surround since their very first play date of the season, Gideon’s Knot back in February 2026 — and last week we gathered again for a beautiful staged reading of Native Gardens. 🌱

These little moments — the laughter, the conversations, the community — are what make this theatre company so special.

(Also… yes, I adopted a sage planty and I’m fully committed to keeping it alive 😌🌿)

Next up: Eureka Day — and they’ve just added more seats!

Come be part of it. Hope to see you there 💚

i don’t need your love, all i need is six 💙🎤 this incredible show taught me not only how to rewrite “herstory” but how to overcome the challenges life brings up in any situation. my dear catherine taught me about friendship, how to be strongwilled and owning who you are and not who everyone else wants you to be-a lesson i really needed to learn in the moment. i have learned so much about myself and who i want to be in my own life, all while making lifelong friendships along the way. every rehearsal had such positive energy and was filled with warmth and genuine love that could light up any room. the undying support i received from my friends, family, director, crew and cast was something i wouldn’t trade for the world and i am so so lucky to have recieved. i am eternally grateful and blessed i had the opportunity to bring one of my favorite characters in such an inspirational story to life. i love you my dear cathy parr 👑💙
