Beer Mile North American Classic 🥈(& 4th) Probably the most fun race I’ve ever taken part in. Can’t believe an event like this even exists, but I’m glad it does. Nothing quite like drowning yourself in beer mid-race and trying to hold it down, all with of hundreds of people watching/cheering. Huge thanks to the volunteers, BMWC team, and local crew led by @jc__ontherun & @william_purifoy for making it happen. Wanted that win, but there’s always next year… 📸: @fah.ar.doh.fotos

Did you hear? You’re all really, really fast 🔥 But for real - congrats everyone on their mile races today!! It’s so awesome watching all of the training come to life on race day. And to see how many people attended just to cheer is a testament to our supportive run community. Enjoy the celebrations! PS - We received the honor of @macklindmile team co-champions!! This means we will have a stein, shown in a few photos below, with our team name etched onto it (after a few days of proper celebration with it) that will be prominently displayed at the Mack Bar & Grill with a green light beneath it for the next year. We will be treated to beer specials and the admiration of our peers each time we stop by The Mack for post-run refreshments and pre-race carb loading. Congrats, team! & more photos coming soon - it’s hard to include every runner in one 20 pic post!
