Well… I definitely wasn’t expecting this. 🥹🤎

But I’m so, so grateful.

“Heaven Made” is officially FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION for R&B Solo Performance. 🏆✨

No, this is not a Grammy nomination…not yet 😉 ,but to know that this song has made it to this part of the journey means more to me than I can really put into words.

Heaven Made came from something I deeply believe: love does not always have to feel like survival.

We don’t have to keep calling struggle “love.” We don’t have to lose ourselves trying to prove that we deserve to be chosen. Love can be safe. Love can be patient. Love can be intentional. Love can feel like home.

And for THAT song to be here? Whew. 🥹

First, I have to thank God.

This season has reminded me that a closed door does not mean the story is over. Sometimes God will allow one door to close and then remind you that He still has plenty of doors with your name on them. And I’m learning to trust Him through ALL of it.

To every producer, musician, vocal arranger, engineer, mixer, masterer, creative, and person who poured into this record….thank you. Thank you for helping me bring what I heard and felt in my heart to life.

And to every single person who streamed Heaven Made, downloaded it, shared it, added it to a playlist, posted it, sent it to somebody, sang it, or simply told me, “J’Nelle, this song means something to me”…

THANK YOU. 🤎

Whether my name makes it onto that nomination list or not, I’m going to celebrate THIS moment.

But listen… we are absolutely believing, praying, AND manifesting the nomination AND the win. 😂🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽

Until then, keep streaming. Keep downloading. Keep sharing. And maybe Heaven Made can keep reminding somebody that healthy love still exists, and we don’t have to settle for survival love.

The work that we put into the production of one song, ONLY GOD can get the glory out of it.
This particular line took us about 1/2 an hour/ 30 minutes 😓… trying to ensure I’m happy with it, the engineer, producer and even the spectators in the studio at that moment (everybody has something to say on the 1 line 😭).
But with all that lengthy hard work on one line, brought together a beautiful song that is ready to encourage someone to ᗯ𝐚𝕀丅 on the Lord, be of good courage and HE shall strengthen thine heart █▓▒▒░░░Wait░░░▒▒▓█ I say on the Lord‼️

Come mek we █▓▒▒░░░Wait░░░▒▒▓█
