Alright, so I redid the pull up challenge from last week. If you remember, they claim was that less than 5% of women can do 1 strict pull up and less than 1% of women can do 5 consecutive strict pull ups. I don’t know where they are pulling their numbers from but I don’t know that I think that’s accurate. I know a lot of other strong female climbers that are very capable of this and more. I think more women would be capable if they trained for it but a majority of women don’t feel motivated or driven to train for it and that’s entirely okay. Strength training is vital for women’s health but it doesn’t have to be pull ups. 😉 @2short2board 🎥 @notenoughtension

Posted a video of an almost-send on this boulder a couple weeks ago (last time we had the board at 45°). I knew this one would go pretty easy when I came back to it fresh. Super fun boulder at 45°. Offer still stands from the last board video I posted on this account. Friends from our area are welcome to come climb our board, just reach out and we would be stoked to have you over for a sesh! There are no words for that feeling when you finally get to say “Yes!!” When people ask if you made it to the top during your decent from Mount Rainier. 4th time’s a charm! I am feeling so many emotions about this one. There are no words! I will definitely be posting a reel with more videos/photos but I don’t have a ton this time because I didn’t take as much on this trip because we were keeping a really good pace on all the easier terrain, my group was making very efficient self-care breaks and right back on the move again, and I wasn’t trying to get my phone out for photos/videos through sketchy terrain for obvious reasons. The sketchy terrain would make for some of the most extravagant photos and videos, but as we say in mountaineering “getting to the top is optional, getting back down is mandatory.” We did it!! I am so grateful to have been included on this 3 person independent (unguided) team! More info about the climb later. Here is a video of me signing the register at the top. 🫶🏻

Toto - V4 @ Leavenworth #leavenworth #leavenworthbouldering #Toto #bouldering Didn’t anticipate this one going as quickly as it did. Last spring I looked at it while scouting what to work on next, after sending Pentaphobia and The Real Thing earlier in the day, and I thought it was “too steep, big move to slopers from bad hands with not great feet on something steep… I’m not ready to try this one yet”. This spring I decided to try it and it went in two sessions. Second session was less than an hour. Perk of having a TB2 in our garage over this last year is feeling wayyy stronger in steeper crappier holds/feet. Nothing overly impressive, but leaps and bounds for me personally! Stoked we are about to expand from the 8x10 to the full 12x12 too. The remaining holds will be here soon! 🥳 @tensionclimbing

“Put On The New” @ 40° on the Tension Board. @tensionclimbing #tensionboard #climbing #bouldering Holy Moly, this Boulder kicked my butt. Have been trying it on and off since Ass or Gas ep. 3 and couldn’t do the third move this whole time. That move went first go with a pair of villains(drone 2’s), now I understand why people call it a “cheater” heel. 🎥: @2short2board

It’s near impossible to choose favorites from the photos of our wedding by @katnielsenphotography I ended up sharing the majority in a series of albums on FB if anyone is hoping to see them all, that’s where to go. I will trickle more out in a series of posts and reels here on instagram too. I’ll try to be more selective here on insta, but it’s hard! We had such an incredible day with so many amazing memories! @notenoughtension 🥹🥰
