This one certainly got people talking… 😂 The comments quickly turned into a debate about whether this was even a free drop. The important thing is separating two different questions: 1️⃣ Is it an immovable obstruction that qualifies for free relief? 2️⃣ If it is, where is the nearest point of complete relief? This wasn’t just a worn dirt track. It was a purpose-built, man-made cart path installed by the club. Once you’ve established that, the drop isn’t where you’d like it to be… It’s simply the nearest point of complete relief, no nearer the hole. Golf’s rules are often more about understanding the situation than memorising the rule. Have you ever been caught out by a relief rule? 👇

“On one Foggy Christmas Eve”🎶 The FOG Round 🌫️⛳️ I’ve been very very busy as of late, but with the warm weather, I had the chance to get out and play some golf! With warm weather in December comes fog! I have played in wind, rain, snow, sleet, wildfire smoke, but I have never played in fog of this intense! If you don’t live in Michigan, we have had CRAZY fog the last few days. The fog was so bad at times, you would of had a hard time seeing your golf ball from 100 yards away! The golf ball was easy to see going up 👀, but once the ball starting coming down, I lost it every time! It was very do-able though, as long as you hit it straight, you could find it every time! Turning a vision into reality! Golf has rejuvenated me in so many ways and has introduced me to so many new friends and connections. The goal has always been to create a group/network that connects all types of golfers in the D and gives us a place to sync up for a group outing, 4 some or hey you want to golf this weekend let’s meet up. I want our group to have brand recognition and that’s where the logo comes in place. We’re open to ideas as this is and will be community driven! @thebogeysmalls and @ryan_dykas_golf want to welcome you all! “Let’s All Golf The D”

Let’s just say all 27 Holes at The Majestic were…Majestic!🪄🪄 On Sunday, us 4 decided to go play, conquer, and review all 27 holes at The Majestic! 🏌🏼‍♂️(@themajesticgolf) The last 9 we decided to have some fun and play a game with the @forecardsgame! Course Review #5 for 2022 - The Majestic - Hartland, Michigan ⛳️ The Majestic sits right next to Lake Walden and is located in Hartland! We played the 3 sets of 9’s. Each 9 is different than the rest, but all have a very similar layout. Some takeaways I discovered: -I thought Holes 1-18 were tighter than Holes 19-27. Most of the holes were tight and the ones that were the only open holes were 1, 15, and 17. -Carts feature GPS units and not only do they give you yardages from the hole, but also some golf history facts about former tournaments and pro golfers! -Tons of cool scenery! (Lots of woods through the cart paths), par 3’s we’re very nice! Clubhouse was nice too! Observations 👀: Fast greens (not true), greens were hard to hit on approach, rough was very thick in spots, and the course wasn’t an easy one to score on. I would recommend this course to mostly experienced golfers only! Pros: 👍 -Fun Course! -Beverage cart came around often! -Scenery & GPS carts made for good expierence! -Good carts, great clubhouse, challenging course! My Rating: 4/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Look for the full review with the @hackers_migolfcourservw coming soon! . . . #majestic #themajestic #golfcourse #hartlandmi #hartland #lakewalden #sportsdetroit #influencer #golfer #sports #friends #cardgame #home #happy
