which planets have been retrograding topsy turvy?? the past couple of months have been so abruptly transformative for me in a way that’s been both freeing and scary. I’m finally (thanks to AI development lol) out of corporate after 5 years of balancing my creative tattoo hustle and a very analytical corporate career. It’s been bittersweet to reflect on how much of myself I’ve given to work, and to finally acknowledge and make peace with the damage stress had brought to my body. I invested my savings into opening a dance studio, driven by community and filled with so much love and energy. super unexpected and honestly could’ve been at a flip of a coin.. life and free will are so silly goofy like that. I trained to became a reiki practitioner at the random intuitive suggestion of a woman in Sedona, and I’m so looking forward to continuing that journey. I deeply questioned what I wanted out of this lifetime and am still sifting through what’s societal expectations versus my true needs and wants. For now, im leaving for a 2 months trip in asia to recalibrate, reflect on purpose, improve my crafts, and just enjoy what I’ve worked hard for. I’ve been reflecting on how interesting it is that anxiety and liberation are really both sides of the same coin, and have been trying to dive deeper to understand the difference between fear and intuition. this life is truly such a wild ride and while change is scary, I’m amazed at the synchronicities when really practicing the art of noticing. I’m so grateful. anyways! love ya thank you for reading if you’ve gotten this far. how are you??

If you’ve been wanting to learn a new hobby and flow prop, I’m teaching a Flowstar Fundamentals class tomorrow 10/13 @ 6pm @312playground 🌀💫

We will get familiar with the Flowstar, use our time to free flow together, and learn a short combo for drilling with our stars!

Do you feel floppy and awkward while doing the Polly Pocket? Don’t let that be you! Here are 3 easy ways you can fix it💫

1. Make sure your hips and shoulders move together when you change directions. This disconnect can often make you feel like you have to twist too much. Your core should feel engaged and it should feel like pushing out from side to side.
2. On this note, think more about kicking “back”, than crossing over the midline of your body. Your feet should be pivoting around the same area on the floor to make this move more efficient!
3. Add some arms! My faves are pointing opposite my front leg, or waving side to side. Keeping your arms sharp or purposeful avoids the floppy look.

Remember that cleaning up your fundamentals often takes some time, so be patient with yourself! Save/share and tag me if you try these! Happy shaping :)
