After years in the making, finally the second iteration of the #AdvancedMountainKit is out! From the first prototypes to the final kit, I tested all of them on 3 separate expeditions to Nanga Parbat. Working with the amazing team in TNF product design, we’ve made the best layering system I can imagine. The whole process was a journey of learning, testing, adjusting and improving for many months and I am grateful to have had the opportunity to participate in the experience. For me it is, without doubt, the best high mountain kit out there. I look forward to hearing what you think of it.

The @thenorthface Advanced Mountain Kit is the pinnacle of alpine systems. I’ve used it on Shishapangma in Tibet, alpine climbs in Alaska, high peaks in the Himalayas, ice climbs in the Canadian Rockies, and everywhere in between.
This 26-piece kit is tents, sleeping bags, gloves, and a next-level layering system was built through years of innovation and athlete feedback.
I’ve been part of every prototype and testing round, and I’m beyond excited to finally see a women’s-specific version perfected for fit, function, and heat mapping.
The future of high-altitude gear is here. #NeverStopExploring #advancedmountainkit #thenorthface

AMK: The Advanced Mountain Kit.

This awesome project started in early 2018. @thenorthface and their Innovation Center took on the huge challenge of creating the most advanced kit possible a kit that could be used in all types of mountain adventures and withstand any challenge. I’m super proud to have been part of it from the very beginning and to have seen the evolution of this amazing project. We learned a lot from AMK 1.0, and AMK 2.0 is even better.

I had the pleasure of testing this kit in different terrains and parts of the world: from the North Face of Everest to the Trango Towers and the Peruvian Andes, from the Alaska Range to the Canadian Rockies, and from hundreds of days around home to countless hours meeting with the design and innovation teams at HQ. It’s been a complete honor to work with amazing friends and athletes and with the best designers the industry has to offer. We all became closer friends because of this project what a beautiful journey to be part of. Thank you all for such an amazing, once in a lifetime experience.

The AMK 2.0 is alive!

Please check out the photos and evolution of the kit throughout the years!! Thank you.

At Verdi Eco Cabin, we care about the environment. Most of the furniture is upcycled or all natural. We took the time to find good wood solid wood pieces like this coffee table and restained it.
