“Even the most beautiful chapters have to end for the story to go on.” Named after the Switchfoot song, Veritas’s 2026 production “Dare You to Move” explored an idea most ageouts will be painfully familiar with: The need to move on from one life chapter to the next. Videographer Jackson Arnold spoke with Veritas director Mike Kehoe following the group’s second consecutive Percussion Independent Open Class gold medal win.

Double Post since I’m hoping to get some feedback on this and I want to post more @veritaspercussion packet stuff since auditions are coming up. Self critique: I’m getting slow on some of the more choppy patterns at 108bpm since my chops are dead from a week of being sick, and i need to focus more on the dynamics at the end and not slam the last few notes. Anything else helps! Sticks: @innovativepercussion FS-4’s Pad: @salyers_percussion Double Sided Pad #dci #wgi #snare #practice #veritaspercussion

I went to the @veritaspercussion ambition clinic this past weekend since i am hoping to march there this winter and i got some really good feedback which im going to continue to work on. If anyone has anything good for working on not moving that left arm as much that would be greatly appreciated (currently using a waterbottle underneath the arm). Metronome hid some of my low notes :( Pad: @salyers_percussion Double Sided Pad Sticks: @promarksticks DCPM1’s #dci #wgi #snare #practice #veritaspercussion

Bringing the Thunder with our 2026-2027 Percussion and Band Brand Ambassador. 🥁 ROMAN!!!!! @romnanoodles Hi! My name is Roman Roberts and I’m an upcoming senior at Plainfield High School where I’m the head Drum Major for our Marching Band- we can’t wait for you to see what we have in store this season! In the Winter- you can find me with my cymbals in Veritas, through 317 Performing Arts, where I am a 2x World Champion! I’m proud to say I’m the youngest to ever be in the organization, and they have been like a second family to me. I’m excited to be an ambassador for Guard Mom Life and look forward to taking you through this year with me in the arts! @veritaspercussion @veritas_cymbals @plainfield_band
