For 14 years, I’ve poured my heart into Dinglewood. I love what we do, and it still excites me. But when you care deeply about your business, it can be easy to keep giving it every spare hour. Add in the everyday work of caring for a family and a household, and without clear boundaries, the things you love can sneakily become a path to burnout. I’ve struggled with this over the years, especially when my brain became the place where every detail, decision, and system had to live. Last month, I traveled to Huntsville, Alabama, for the Ledgewood Collective Retreat. It was an investment in my business, yes, but also an investment in myself and the future I want to build. I was ready for a reset, needing better systems, industry friends that “get it” and clear rules that would help Dinglewood run without relying on me to remember everything. I wanted to build a healthier way of working that protects the business I love and makes room for my own needs, too. As the wedding, stationery, and letterpress industries have changed so much in these 14 years, I want to keep learning, growing, and make sure we’re giving our clients the best possible experience. The Collective gave me time and space to think about what comes next, and the courage to place a bet on my future self. The best part is I didn’t have to do that thinking alone. Between the paper talk, shared stories, encouragement, and laughs, we all became instant friends! I came home with more than ideas. I came home feeling connected, understood, and hopeful about what we can build together. Thank you, Frances, for being the sweetest host and making us feel so welcome in Rocket City. I’m forever grateful for the friendships made, the inspiration shared, and the reminder that investing in the person behind the business matters, too. isty smiles and claps at the welcome party beside guests in pink and floral outfits.

Five years of memories, meaningful connections, and a community that continues to make it all possible. 💜 There’s something special about a piece of Huntsville’s history becoming the backdrop for today’s most meaningful moments. Over the past five years, Stovehouse Event Center has brought people together for weddings, corporate gatherings, nonprofit fundraisers, and personal celebrations, creating new memories within a place rich with history. None of it would be possible without the incredible vendors, creative partners, clients, and community members who have been part of our journey. With the leadership and vision of our owners, Danny & Patti Yancey, we’ve continued to build a place where history and new experiences come together, and we couldn’t be more grateful for everyone who has helped shape what our venue is today. Three little letters, endless possibilities, and SO much artistry! One of the sweetest parts of our education day at The Collective was having the incredibly talented Pam Shuler of @shulerstudio join us to share the art of a monogram! From understanding letter placement and composition to the thoughtful details that make a custom monogram truly one of a kind, Pam shared her knowledge and expertise with our group of wedding stationers. A monogram is so much more than beautifully intertwined initials. It is a meaningful part of a couple’s story, a reflection of their style, and often a design that becomes a treasured family heirloom. There is something so special about gathering talented creatives in one room, learning from one another, and growing in our artistry. There’s just something about a beautiful cake meadow that gets me every time. 🤍 I love the way the florals bring the cake into the overall design and make what could be a simple cake table feel completely intentional. The layers, the movement, the little details—it all comes together so beautifully. It’s one of those details that may seem small, but makes such a big impact on the overall feel of the day. Surrounded by samples and stationers, what more could a girl ask for?! One of my favorite details from the Ledgewood Fine Stationery Collective was our sample bags! Each bag was filled to the brim with beautiful wedding stationery samples, specialty printing techniques, fine paper goods, and thoughtful goodies from some of our favorite industry vendors. We hung them in my office like stockings, and seeing all those bags lined up for our fellow wedding stationers made me so happy! Creating an experience where stationery designers could discover new printing resources, explore beautiful paper samples, connect with industry professionals, and leave feeling inspired was exactly what I envisioned for the Collective. Because when you bring together people who share a love for beautiful paper, you know it’s going to be something special! Oh, what fun! Last weekend, we celebrated our baby boy the best way we know how — with friends, family, sports, and good food! 🩵⚾️🍿🍺 Jaxon David, you are already so loved and it is so evident. Thank you to everyone who came to shower Jordon & I. We are so grateful! A HUGE shoutout out to my sweet ladies who made it all happen! 🫶🏼 Especially to my very special girls @maggimaehill & @katie.marbut who supported every vision I had and made my dream baby shower come true! Back in 2024 I wrote down my business goals on sticky notes and stuck them on the wall right in front of my desk. One of those sticky notes happened to say “Collab with Ledgewood Fine Stationery.” (Swipe to the end for the proof 🫶🏼) I knew from the time I found Frances’ work that she was someone I wanted to have in my corner in this industry! Here we are 2 years later and I have had the honor and pleasure of working with sweet Frances for the 2nd year in a row at her incredible retreat hosted for stationers called the Collective!! Since I wrote that sticky note, we have worked together many times, attended networking events together, and grown a sweet friendship that I will forever be thankful for!!! The 2026 Collective Retreat was truly one for the books. There was not a detail that went unnoticed. Everything was so intentional and planned perfectly!! I truly feel so honored to have been a small part of this year’s retreat!
