Meet Hannah 🌟, student at @vcu who spent both Summer A and Summer B at SRISA.

During her time in Florence, Hannah discovered new techniques in Book Arts, explored the Venice Biennale, and found inspiration in experiencing art and learning from a different perspective.

She shares what she’s taking home from her time in Italy and how the experience has influenced her artistic practice.

💫 Don’t miss her best advice for anyone dreaming of studying abroad!

If you’re about to study abroad in Florence, take it from the students who’ve already been there 🇮🇹

From former SRISA students to future ones, here’s some advice to keep in mind before you arrive:

🌿 Come with an open mind
💛 Be present. This is a once-in-a-life time experience, don’t take it for granted
🪭 Bring a fan
🏛️ Make the most of your Uffizi Card
🍝 Look beyond the restaurant recommendations and try some hole-in-the-wall spots
🍿 Bring a few snacks from home

What would you add to the list? 👇

a little compilation of vlogs taken over the past two months while aborad in italy and a little trip to france.

this genuinely has been one of the best experiences of my life and i know my last little video gets cut off but i just want to thank everyone i met for being so welcoming and kind. it truly would have been a different trip without meeting everyone. from being able to have fun and laugh while seeing pisa to dancing and jumping in the rain i genuinely wouldn’t change anything that happened during this trip. And just know that i will be back!
