Sandy + Jamie had the sweetest day 🤍 So many of their details were handmade and beautifully thought out by Sandy. Everything was just so sentimental! Here is a little sneak peek of the magic.

Trail rides & sunshine—yes, please!☀️🐴

Yesterday, our campers saddled up for an unforgettable afternoon of horseback riding at Triple B Ranch!

Riding through the scenic Colorado trails is just one of the many adventures they get to experience at our Christian summer camp.

Tag a friend you’d want to ride with next summer and come join the fun!

I’ve never been one to really care or put effort into birthdays. But we went all out for my 30th and I could not be more grateful. Catching a snow storm in my favorite place, doing my favorite things with some of my favorite folks made for the most memorable weekend. Cannot wait to go back for the next round!

“To ride on a horse is to fly without wings.”

I never look forward to going anywhere as much as I look forward to coming back to this ranch. Grateful I could finally take pops out and show him the place I’ve been raving about for years and the passion that I have! Helluva ride and things learned as always!

Some of the best view of Pikes Peak are from the back of a horse at @3b.ranch in Woodland Park!

The horses are kind and well trained for beginner riders. We took an hour long guided ride on their beautiful property.

Story time…
I only truly dove into my horsemanship a few years ago as a way to cope therapeutically with my depression, falling in absolute love with it and developing a deep passion along the way. I’ve come a long way, but there is still so much to learn. But this horse right here, I’ve never felt a more natural connection to one. The intuitive way we rode was incredible. I needed it. I knew she could tell I wasn’t just there for the fun of it.
I’ve been reflecting for several days about this trip. It was meant to be my “vision quest”, to truly let it all out, to connect on a deeper level with God, and to grant Him more access to my heart to give me the tools necessary to continue to heal myself. I accomplished that mission.
In a Tuesday night church service a few weeks back, one of the things discussed was the vessels God sends us to communicate His will to us and manifest His love for us and how we should listen to them. I’ve seen quite a few of those recently. This horse was one of those vessels. For days she put up with my curiosity, adventures, adrenaline craving, emotions, when I would sit there and talk to myself, when I sat and prayed, when I sat there and just cried, she was patient with me. But I got a lot of answers to my prayers, others still pending. Riding through those mountains gave me the opportunity to tune everything out and just listen. I achieved the rush and the peace I desperately was needing.
Things are more clear now, but now I’m back in reality where the lessons learned from the answers received need to be implemented in order to see the results and continue growing. There’s a lot of good headed my way, I just gotta make the right choices.
To @3b.ranch thank y’all for being the best and most gracious hosts and teachers, I can’t wait to come back again and spend time at that beautiful ranch. Y’all teach me more every time I go and I’m happy to have had that opportunity. Those amazing animals y’all have are my favorite form of therapy. Till next time!
