@3cusa Sunday Sermon got me baking 🍰, I mean THINKING 🤔

Do people who interact with me see the difference Jesus has made in my life?? Like really see it??

There are definitely areas of my life I need to get in alignment but shew! do I feel so much more peace since accepting Jesus into my heart ❤️

And I want to make sure I share the Good News 📰 with all ya'll bc I want you to experience the God I know 🙏

Pastor @jaredrittenhouse brought the ingredients today!! Here are two of my favorite take aways -

🔅Discipleship is not about knowledge it's about obedience (to God)

🔅People don't need my information about Jesus, they need to see Jesus in my life

So although I may not be making a cake 🎂 anytime soon, I will be making moves to make sure you see Jesus through me 😊

📖 This is the third year in a row I have ATTEPMTED to read the Bible in a year

The first 2 years I gave up after just a few months bc the plan I was using bounced around - Old Testament, New Testament, Psalm, & Proverb - every day 🌪

I felt super confused 🙃

This year @thebiblerecap plan popped up on my phone 📱so I checked it out. TBR is a plan that reads through the Bible in chronological order AND each day there is a short video 📽 that explains what I just read! PLUS at the beginning of each new book, there is a short video overview🤸🏻‍♀️🤸🏻‍♀️🤸🏻‍♀️

I have become OBSESSED with the Old Testament (I read 1 Samuel & 1/2 of 2 Samuel on our flight ✈️ back from Idaho!) Seeing how God worked pre-Jesus is fascinating!!

This plan is so easy for me that I'm actually days ahead & super excited to keep reading.

If I can give anyone questioning God or curious about God or feeling disconnected from God just a small piece of advice - READ THE BIBLE 📖

Find a plan that engages you. Find a friend, mentor or leader who can encourage you - like me 🙋‍♀️ And truly discover- or rediscover- His love story to us

I promise you won't regret it 💛

Happy Birthday to my lovely wife!

It’s such a joy to get to celebrate you, not just today but every moment I get to be with you. Seeing you as a student - I’d choose you. Seeing you as a friend - I’d choose you. Seeing you as a fiancé - I’d choose you. Seeing you as a wife - I’d choose you. Seeing you as a mother - I’d choose you. Seeing you as a grandmother 😅 - I’d choose you! You’re my greatest gift and I’d choose you a million times over!

I love you my babes. Have a wonderful day!

We are incredibly thankful to the Lord for an outstanding G12 Conference. The past two days were filled with passionate leaders carrying a deep burden for the future. We are reminded of our call to go and make disciples of all nations. We are so proud of our USA team, under the leadership of Pastors @mrittenhouse and @pastorpaularitt, together with the @3cusa team - faithful, focused, and fully committed to the Great Commission. Great ministry by @charnepretorius and @pearsonpretorius

Thank You to @3cusa for allowing me to capture some amazing moments during their crossover service! I met some cool guys while I was there. It’s nothing like meeting people that share the same passion as you and that also love the Lord, God is so good. Hopefully some day in the near future I’ll be able to come back capture more beautiful moments like these! It’s nothing like starting the year off with Jesus!

How did you bring in the New Year? Let me know in the Comments.
