Black and white photography has always been my first love. It strips everything back to essence—shape, texture, emotion, and the interplay between subject and space. No colour to hide behind. Just pure craft.
Some of these images are fresh from the last six months. Others, like the portrait of my late brother Scott with his best mate Sam, reach back nearly 28 years. Yet they sit together effortlessly. That’s the power of monochrome—it transcends time.
Whether it’s the dramatic sweep of a gown against brutalist architecture, the raw energy of a runner on the sand, the quiet intensity of a portrait, or the sculptural beauty of the human form in water and light, B&W reveals what truly matters.
This is the craft.
