It’s been 5 long years with my house loving honey. There have been many obstacles along the way. But we have always overcome them. I met you years ago in PCB during spring break you were hosting. I walked up to you on the beach hit on you, got turned down bc you had a gf at the time. Years passed and you walked back into my life (me not realizing you were the guy I hit on years prior to meeting you all over again) you were DJing for TC bars and I was bartending. I again turned to one of my friends and said” he’s hot!” She said “I think he has a gf” I let it go. Ended up dating someone, you moved away, then came back. They say the 3rd time is a charm. We were both at very different places in our lives from the first time we met and the second. I had liked one of your pics that popped up on my feed and we started joking back and forth through DMs. Finally I get back from a trip I was on and we decide to go on a date. Our first time kicking it by ourselves. You were sitting at the bar and you turn and look at me when I walking over to you. I’ll never forget the way you looked at me. Mouth on the floor and you looked so nervous. I was extremely nervous as well. But through dinner we had banter, we laughed, we had great conversation. It just seemed so natural and the nerves were completely gone by the end of the meal. After that we became inseparable. I was staying at your place all the time, you’d come to mine. I don’t think a day went by that we weren’t together for months. Finally we moved in together. You help me with my renovations I had been working on for years and we built a home together. We built a life together. And 5 years later, I can stand here and say I love you as much as the first day I said it. And you’re the only man that has loved me thru the hard times and stayed loyal no matter how complicated I can be sometimes. Thank you for being goofy even when I need you to be serious sometimes….. I know I can count on you to keep me smiling. And for a long time my smile was gone. Thank you for these last 5 years. I watched both of us grow to be better people. And I’m proud of you and all of your accomplishments. Life has so much more in store for us. ❤️
