@townofoakville , @soloswims , @swimdrinkfish, @biinaagami , @greatlakestrust and @glowswimming dedicates a plaque to honour swimmers who crossed the western section of Lake Ontario. Glow adventures has also created a shoreline swim to encourage long distance swimming in the Great Lakes.
Swimmers can use @marathonswimmersfederation for ratification and Solo Swims of Ontario can use this shoreline swim of trial swim. If you have any further questions please send us a message!

I had such a great time on set for the #everycontactcounts photo shoot with @3hcommunications! It was an amazing experience working alongside such a talented crew—and I even learned something new: contact lenses and blister packs can be recycled!

Meet the women of Tarot!
A final post for closing of #WomensWeek 🃍💃🏾🂡

These illustrations are all from a collab completed earlier this year for @MysticstoryTellerTarot and that is now available for preorder! ✨tinyurl.com/jc7ez8ysa

I worked on this project with 2 fabulous women that you'll find in the cards:

- Mandy (Amanda Hughes) @haintbluecreative as the Magician, Mandy is the author/visionary & creator of this project 🪄 ✨

Stacey (Stacey Williams-Ng) the publisher/guru & art director @LaPanthereStudio shows up as the Queen of Wands 👑✏️

Other real-life muses were integrated in the deck; spouses, parents, children, friends … even pets! from our actual lives💛

Each was chosen to interpret the spirit of their given card according to their individual qualities as humans.

✨Besides these fabulous women, in the slides you will see:

- my mother Florette as the Empress 🌺

- Stacey’s daughter Sophie as the knight of Wands @sophieroll_ 🏇

Granted, it’s an idealized & younger version but u know... that’s the #artistsprerogative !! 👩🏼‍🎨😉

There were other women friends featured as well but I can’t fit them all on the slides here.

For the remaining women, they were drawn from my imagination and Mandy & Stacey's creative direction.

As a professional make up artist and hairstylist my kit liyerally weighs more than me! Then for some reason these studios never have an elevator so I literally have to stretch for 20mins just to carry my kit up Mount Kiliminjaro!!!
Oh ... let me add everyone then asks you why you look so flustered and sweaty walking into set and how long you need to finish make up and hair while they sip on their coffees
