Before life got too serious, this was my group. My brothers. My family.
Looking back at it all as an adult, it’s funny to realize that the one thing we probably all had in common was some kind of trauma 😂. We were a bunch of outsiders who found each other and somehow turned that into a family.
We’d skate all over the city, all over the county, break into schools just to skate and drink beers, smoke cigarettes, and chase whatever little bit of adrenaline we could find. I’ll never forget breaking into Telechron just to get chased out and shot at with bean bags by security 😂. Looking back, we were probably idiots… but damn, we were having the time of our lives.
Eventually, life happened. We all drifted in different directions. Some moved out of state, some grew into completely different people, and some we just stopped talking to altogether.
But I honestly wouldn’t change a damn thing.
For a little while, we were young, reckless, broke, lost, and somehow completely free. Some people hated us, some people loved us, but we never really cared either way. We had our own little world, and at the time, that was enough.
Those years are gone now, But looking back at these photos reminds me that, for a moment in time, we were exactly where we were supposed to be.
Just a bunch of Cats making memories we didn’t realize we’d spend the rest of our lives missing.

Anyway… just feeling nostalgic looking through these old photos. ❤️‍🔥
