I spent the last year reworking the script for an interactive murder mystery play called Murder at the Majlis. Now, 2,400 people are going to watch it on Halloween weekend in Dubai! ✨ Murder at the Majlis returns for a glorious third run at @newcoventgardentheatredxb ♥️ (EARLY BIRD GOES LIVE SOON!) It was made with immense love and care by a talented group of ambitious dreamers @_06theatre ✨ If you’ve followed me for a while, you know how I feel about the art space in the UAE. I set out to build an alternative. I want you to know that the era of playing small is over. The age of not taking ourselves seriously before we gain external (idiotic) legitimacy is over. The time of begging and being grateful for scraps is past. Bigger, bigger, bigger!!! Artists will thrive here. Me and so many others are committed to that vision. I would say that “you can pry this dream out of my cold dead hands,” but you won’t be able to, because by then, it will be the reality we live in. ♥️ Come watch this vision come to life! Mark your calendars for Murder at the Majlis and support the immense talent at home by sharing this! 💯 Prove to other dreamers that their efforts are not in vain. If one is possible, a thousand more will follow.

One man. One empty seat on a couch. Ten strangers pulled from the audience. An Hour of Beautiful Lies is not a magic show. It’s a quiet, chaotic, occasionally musical interrogation of the lies we survive on. "Love is unconditional". "Sorry I’m late". "I’ll be back". You’ll hear them all. Come if you’re curious. Stay if you’re brave. Leave wondering which of your own beautiful lies is about to run out. Important: This is an interactive show. You will be invited to play with the performer. Date: Friday, May 22nd Time: 7pm-8pm Doors open from 6:30pm Venue: the Warehouse (WH57, Goshi Village, Al Quoz3, Dubai) #thingstododubai #dubaievents #fridaysdubai #dubaiweekend
