Exactly one year after shooting at the amazing @larmertree, I was fortunate enough to shoot there again; this time for the lovely Jess and Matt!
If you want endless fun at your wedding, trust me when I say you should consider bubbles and ceilidh dancing! Congratulations you two (and an extended congratulations for your upcoming +1!)

Sat night Late Night Extra Ceilidh with the very groovy Threepenny Bit, feat guest bassist David De La Haye, and many magnificent dancers! The tune is Anne McQuarrie’s by Cape Breton fiddler Donald Angus Beaton.

Here is what actually happens when go to a Ceilidh

The Caller has your back: The fantastic John Brown stands on stood on stage tonight and gives instructions in real-time. Zero memory required.

Perfection is banned: This is Broadstairs, where Clarence the Dragon eats spare change and Hooden Horses steal hats. A bit of chaotic dancing is completely normal.

The ultimate icebreaker: You don’t need to bring a partner. You will be pulled straight into a set of eight people the second you walk in.

Stop watching from the safety of the Jack Hamilton Bar! Head to the link in our stories to find the full line up from fancy dress with banter to our Jacks Night Ceilidh. If you have been before, tell us: where did you go to your very first ceilidh?

Huge thanks to @3pennybit for fueling the chaos on stage tonight at our first ceilidh of Folk Week! 🪕 to John Brown our caller for the night and @andrew.laszcz_new_version for sending us brilliant videos.

A small contribution to the mounting evidence that 2025 did, in fact, happen. Superbly grateful to everyone I shared it with. x
