I did it you guys. I got rid of what wasn’t making me happy anymore. Along with my entire community#. Left behind the following I spent years building. I even stepped away from photography—the thing that once brought me the most joy.

Crazy, right?

Why would anyone willingly give up something they worked so hard to build?

Because I wasn’t happy anymore.
And isn’t staying somewhere you’ve outgrown the real crazy?

We change. We learn. We evolve. We outgrow people, places, careers, and even the passions that once defined us.

I can honestly say I’m proud of everything I accomplished through photography. It gave me opportunities I never could have imagined. I traveled the world, met incredible people, and created memories I’ll always be grateful for.

But gratitude doesn’t mean obligation.
Just because something was right for you once doesn’t mean it’s right for you forever.

Wouldn’t staying simply because it’s familiar be settling? For what? Comfort? Validation? Fear of starting over?
That didn’t scare me.

I chose to start over.
In my 30s.
And yeah... it’s terrifying.

But you know what’s even more scary?

Waking up every day, going through the motions, living on autopilot simply because it’s what you’ve always done.

Fuc*****k that.

I’d rather face the uncertainty of building something new than spend another year pretending the old version of me still fits.

Here’s to ANYONE and EVERYONE that chose to embrace starting over in their lives. Make sure anyone reading this and agreeing is an ig friend so we can stay in touch and root one another on moving forward.. because we so got this.
