dSCRIBE Issue #19: Point is officially out in the world, with 25 beautiful works of writing for all to appreciate. We formally launched the publication last week with the presentation of the Darebin Mayor’s Writing Awards.

A big thank you to Mayor @emilydimitriadis for presenting the awards! Our 2026 Winner is @stheocharides_ for ‘Whippet’, with an Honourable Mention for Letizia Mondello for ‘Do Not Hurry’.

Congratulations and thank you to our very deserving award recipients, to dSCRIBE #19 editor extraordinaire @adalya_, to all our wonderful published writers, to @benjuers for the stunning cover art, and @3sidedsquare for the beautiful publication design.

Pick up your FREE copy of dSCRIBE #19: Point from any of the Darebin libraries, and local bookstores in Darebin. You can also find a digital copy in full on the Darebin Arts website via the link in bio.

GRIT & GRANDEUR
In #Teaser2 of We Are Them, beauty whispers in contrasts—glittering accents on polished skin, pale hues exuding quiet strength, and deep, rich colours that speak volumes. Grit & Grandeur is a study in refined opulence and understated simplicity, where every frame tells a story of elegant resilience. #WeAreThem #GritAndGrandeur #RefinedBeauty #ElegantResilience

We’re absolutely stoked to be named a finalist ten times in the 2025 National Print Awards!

Eight of our projects have been recognised across a range of categories - including Brochures, Embellishment, Packaging, Self Promotion, Digital Print, and Book Binding….plus we’ve received two special nominations:

• Judges Award for Excellence in Craft for the @bellamcgoldrick book
• @print21au Magazine’s Printer of the Year

After a few years without these awards due to Covid, it feels especially meaningful to see the print industry coming together again to celebrate our craft. And to have Bambra’s name appear across so many categories? Well that’s a big, fat cherry on top!

A heartfelt thank you to our amazing clients, we’re so lucky to collaborate with such talented individuals and teams who trust us to bring your creative visions to life.

Special shout out to our finalists above for their brilliant designs - @actualsizemelb @3sidedsquare @its.dan.go @bellamcgoldrick
@rodschaffer, Alexandar, CustomerCX.

Winners announced at the Gala night in Sydney tomorrow - fingers crossed! 🤞🏻

Stunning packaging by @3sidedsquare for @shokuiku

Several distinct tea varieties, each distinguished by a unique de-boss pattern on the front.

The @colorplan_papers Claret 270gsm stock from @ballanddoggett gives a real sense of luxury and sophistication 🙌🏻

Printed by us on our Indigo Digital Press using multiple hits of white ink to ensure max opacity and luminosity.
