This weekend we celebrated one year of Sparc.

A year of movement. A year of conversations. A year of watching strangers become friends and community become something people could count on.

When people see the events, they see the class. The content. The smiles. What they don’t always see is what it takes to keep showing up month after month.

Building community isn’t just about passion. It’s about sustainability.

We’ve learned that if we want these spaces to exist for years, not just moments, we have to build them with partners and sponsors who believe in the same mission. Their support allows us to create meaningful experiences without sacrificing ourselves in the process.

Because founders deserve to build without burning out.
Community builders deserve to be compensated.
And impact becomes so much bigger when it’s sustainable.

To every attendee, instructor, volunteer, partner, sponsor, and person who’s believed in Sparc this past year: thank you. You’re the reason we get to celebrate not just one year, but everything that’s still to come. 💜⚡

@mister_charlietran @zoeyandhertoys and I went to the Days of Summer event at @union28midlothian! Our parents got their caffeine fix at the @40k_coffee booth, while we got our portrait taken. 📸☕️
We all stayed for lunch at Union 28, the covered patio vibes were perfect. 🍔🤤

We even made a new friend, a tiny Yorkie-Shih Tzu pup name Mocha. 🐶❤️
