Before we say goodbye to July, here’s a word of advice from our Spotlight.

“There’s no “right style” in what you enjoy doing. You might feel pressured or overwhelmed because there’s so much inspiration everywhere, but know that the “right style” is the one that makes you smile and proud of what you worked on. Keep on experimenting because like other things, you’re not meant to be already great at something you just started. Just enjoy what you’re doing and the style that feels right will come along the way. Also, don’t be scared to share it!”

Thank you @40pens for letting us feature you for our Spotlight of the month. You are indeed an inspiration to others who aspire to start their creative journey! ✨

Writing, one of the things our Spotlight loves doing!

A journaling enthusiast and a content writer by profession. Ina, who goes by @40pens, started her journey in 2013. According to Ina, she always loved writing for as long as she can remember. Probably the reason why she ended having it as a career!

At first, she started writing about fairy tales to fan fiction. Until during her Junior year, she decided to document and journal about her life. Also, the time she discovered her passion for photography and videography!

To further hone her skills she joined their school’s publication and later on decided to start her Youtube Channel: pynatbutterz

Stay tuned as our spotlight gives her advice for aspiring hobbyists! 💖

New month, new Spotlight!

For our SOTM, Inspiration is everywhere! It can be an emotion, a thought, a great song, a movie or someone she looks up to! The beauty of journaling is that there’s so much to write about. You don’t always have to write about just the good stuff.

Just like any creative work, you are not constrained to anything. As the saying goes, “Imagination is the limit!” ✨

Stay tuned as we share more about our Spotlight, @40pens!
