Please Be Nice presents: A Beginners Only Tournament for the Girls & Theys! this sunday — games start @ 4pm!

Our tourneys are all beginner friendly, but this one is meant to give our pool guppies an extra edge while betting on themselves in competition. Rules-wise, this tournament will run identical to our classic Girls/Theys 8-ball tourney— except the buy-in will be half the cost to enter ⭐️$5⭐️!

Who qualifiers as a Beginner? Any female or non-binary player who has an APA ranking of a 2 or 3 max, AND have never won a PBN tourney before. If you win a Beginners tourney, that would also qualify you as a past winner and prevent you from participating in the future. “APA Ranking” refers to the skill level you are assigned if you play in a billiards league, so if you’ve never played league you won’t have a ranking and thus can participate!

This tournament will follow BCA rules, which we are happy to explain as much as needed! Refs will be available for questions and advice during games as well- two “Time Outs” per player/per rack.

RSVP DOES NOT GUARANTEE A SPOT ON THE BRACKET • rsvp to show your interest & get the event on your calendar, and a text blast will be sent out when the bracket opens the day before tourney • max 24 people on the bracket, a spot on the bracket can be reserved via private message on Pie or Instagram DMs once notification is sent Saturday @ noon 💌
