Teacher Vs. Students 👀🔥 (Ball Screen 1 on 2 Drill) Sometimes you gotta hop in w/ your players & show them you can still hoop 😂 Which play is your favorite?! Here is an effective drill to work on reading multiple defenders coming off ball screens. This scenario we are working on reading the primary on ball defender coming off a drag screen and then reading drop coverage in a soft hedge scenario as we’re coming off. This is a great drill to instill a scoring mentality coming off the screens & it much more difficult than a game since you’ve got to get a bucket since it’s 1 on 2. Make no mistake about it, we want our players thinking pass more often than not coming off ball screens. However, we don’t create those passing windows/angles unless we’re a threat to score the rock coming off ball screens. If we can’t shoot coming off or make a play to score, the defense isn’t going to commit & this limits passing angles exponentially. Great work last night w/ my guys @mattmcd222 & @412.will These two just continue to get better & I’m looking forward to seeing what the future holds for them! #shehadybasketball #basketballtraining #skilldevelopment #trainsmarter #pabasketball #nabasketball #ohiobasketball #collegebasketball #ones #1v1 #handles
