THREE STARS ON THE BADGE FOR THE WANS 🟡⚫️

In what was possibly the tightest of league finishes in Lockleaze Premier Division history, 40 Wan Bissaka snatched the title thanks to Toby’s goal vs Inter My Gran on the final day!

A season the Wans can be extremely proud of with only 1 loss and 7 conceded in 9 games 💪

Despite complacent draws against Pesterfield, Shjthook and Doves FC Reserves (with the latter two finishing bottom two), the lads still believed and battled til the end with a miracle ending to the season as results went our way 🏆

Huge shoutouts to some standout performers from the season including the self titled “Jenkinator” and Toby for their goal scoring prowess and deciding some fixtures in the calendar, Lew for his midfield masterclass supplying 5 assists in 8 games and Harvo for a rock-solid season at the back (some would say his best season to date) 💛

Statistics from the season:

👕 Most apps: @charlie.aitken15, @dom.dasiewicz & @lewispugh10 (8)
⚽️ Most goals: @rob_jenkinsss & @tobyoestel (4)
🅰️ Most assists: @lewispugh10 (5)
🌟 Most MOTMs: @rob_jenkinsss & @tobyoestel (3)
🏆 Player of the Season: @tobyoestel 🐐

And some huge milestones to celebrate from last season:

💛 125 apps: @charlie.aitken15
💛 100 apps: @dom.dasiewicz
💛 75 apps: @dannyboykent & @__jakeharvey__
💛 50 apps: @lewispugh10
⚽️ 75 goals: @kallumdowson

Huge shoutout as ever to our sponsors, @hawa_barbers the 🐐s of Bristol and the South West’s finest @41sessions 🪩

We are so fucking back.

Summer is officially coming to an end ☀️

Catch our main man @dandeckstrous repping EX34 DNB on Saturday night for one last dance this summer! 💃🔥

@41sessions were a massive inspiration to us and gave us the motivation to get into the music promotion game after all their sick nights at The Rabbit Hole (RIP 🥲).

So I’m absolutely buzzing to have been asked to play alongside such a stacked lineup, with the likes of @dj.bishh, @thirdnipstagram and @ohmy_rosh 🔊🔥

The music scene in Devon is on the up, and it’s time we all got behind it. Let’s get together, make some noise and celebrate what this part of the country has to offer!

See ya on the farm 🌾🔊

A September weekend in Croyde sounds pretty good to us.

We’ve got @mungoshifi, a @junglecakes takeover with @edsolouk, @bennypagemusic, @djdeekline and @navi4real, plus @samdivinedj, @alrightmlover and @41sessions bringing the soundtrack across the weekend.

Expect great music, good people and the kind of atmosphere that keeps you hanging around long after sunset.

If you made it to our last Croyde event, you’ll know exactly why we’re excited for this one. If you didn’t, consider this your sign not to miss out.

Tickets available via the link in our bio.
