From accent walls to fine art. First art show at the Black Art Gala in Chicago was one for the books. We came, we conquered, and we showed out. Met some incredibly talented artists, made meaningful connections, and enjoyed nothing but great energy all weekend.

What started with creating custom accent walls has grown into something even bigger. This was our first art show, but it definitely won’t be our last.
The journey is just getting started. 🤍

Man, I just want to say I truly appreciate everybody who prayed for me and reached out while I was dealing with this heart attack. For real, it helped me get through more than y’all know.

I love this life so much that it almost took me out. Nah, for real though… I’m doing what I love at such a high level that sometimes it consumes me. When I’m locked in on a project, I don’t sleep, I don’t turn my brain off, and I’m constantly thinking about the vision. This was definitely a wake-up call, and I’m beyond grateful to still be here.

I will be taking some time to rest, so y’all can rest assured I’m going to take it easy. But I won’t be gone long. I’m coming back stronger than ever. They can’t hold me down forever. This is just the next chapter.

The Chicago project was a success. The art show was beautiful. And I’ve got so much content I can’t wait to share with y’all. This is just a small glimpse, but the full episodes will be dropping on YouTube and TikTok — Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4… the whole journey.

And I’m telling y’all now, this shit finna go viral. Y’all don’t want to miss this.

Stay tuned, Jones family. I love y’all.

First Art Gala — Complete ✅.

I want to extend a special thank you to @424chicago and @theblackartgala.as for the opportunity to be a part of such an incredible event. It was an honor to showcase my work, connect with so many talented artists, and experience the creativity and energy that filled the room.

This event marks a meaningful milestone in my journey as an artist, and I’m excited to continue growing, creating, and seeing where this path leads next.

A special thank you to everyone who came out, showed support, shared kind words, and spent time with my work. Your encouragement means more than you know, and I am truly grateful for each and every one of you.

*POSTPONED* Join us this Friday for the opening reception of the Mind over Matter exhibition at Studio 424 featuring Doug Overton in Wicker Park!

This show will feature a collection of street art celebrating skateboard culture in Chicago. We welcome you to this exciting event inspired by the skateboard art community among a local group of creatives.

The reception will go from 5-10pm this Friday, June 12th with live performances from a series of local musicians.

Another heater of a show comin’ at you this weekend from the mind of @__c.luna__

“Mind over Matter” opens next Friday at @424chicago

Took a different approach to the board piece by building the ufo out of pressed deck. Big thanks to @_regenerate_wood_ for the wood hookup! Also brought out an old mini deck that will be available at the show as well.
