This is a shot taken from one of my favorite landscapes in Utah. The scenery here is absolutely unreal. Almost as if you’re on the edge of the world or on the moon. I really wanted to photograph this landscape from a different angle, other than the same viewpoint most people shoot this from. But I really like how this came out, especially with the amount of light that came through the cave where I was shooting.

“Beam Me Up Scotty”
Just about a decade ago, a good friend and I were out in Utah exploring the salt flats shooting the stars when this idea to try and replicate a transporter from Star Trek. The shot turned out pretty good with limited experience in photography and using a headlamp to light paint. Ultimately there is nothing’s better than being out under the stars with good friends, making good memories and having fun!

Temple Pulpit

The Pulpit is situated in the Temple of Sinawava at the north end of Zion Canyon, rising 160 feet (49 meters) above the canyon floor and the North Fork of the Virgin River which drains precipitation runoff from this rock. It is a photographic icon seen from the parking area at the end of Zion Canyon Scenic Drive, and the entrance to The Narrows.
